    We are seeking an experienced enterprise sales Account Manager for our DACH region, based in Germany (Munich preferred but not essential) to seek out new sales opportunities within existing and brand new customers.

     

    You’ll have a challenging target but will be well rewarded for success.

     

    Responsibilities include:

     

     

    Retain & Grow Existing Business

    Profitably Win New Business

    Act as a Trusted Advisor and Colleague to the IDBS Team

    Seek and create opportunities to expand business with current clients, identifying further business needs and presenting a solution

    Develop and execute against a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to acquire new accounts

    Closely interact with IDBS support functions in furthering account development including Professional Services, Product Management, Product Development, Solution Consulting and Customer Support

     

    Key relationships will include:

    • EMEA sales team
    • EMEA business development team
    • DACH delivery team
    • Customer Support
    • Understand prospective client’s culture, product portfolio, competitive position, financial state, investment plan, organization structure and key decision makers
    • Develop customer relations including, but not limited to sales leads, research, warm calls, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service
    • Forecast accurately
    • Grow existing accounts and prospective clients to full potential and generate maximum revenue on a long-term basis to meet or exceed targets
    • Negotiate contracts and work agreements

     


     

    To be successful, you will need:

    • Previous experience in selling enterprise cloud-based technology and solutions or relevant sales experience managing complex sales processes in Life Sciences
    • Demonstrated ability to create sales results and sell services in a complex environment
    • Demonstrated capability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets, profitably
    • Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills
    • Ability to adapt and use Challenger Sales skills
    • Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills
    • Fluent German language skills (verbal and written) are essential
