At IDBS, the Site Reliability Engineers (previously known as DevOps) focus on automation and self service by building reliable infrastructure and tools for our agile teams so that they can focus on developing functionality that helps R&D teams globally to manage their data, enhance their collaboration and drive innovation. They work closely with our agile teams to advocate sensible, scalable systems design that enables overall performance and reliability of IDBS’ infrastructure and products.
As a member of our Site Reliability Engineering team you will be responsible for managing and supporting a 99.9% uptime Linux based production environment in AWS. You will work with new technologies to build new systems to improve deployment speeds, reduce system variance, remove manual processes and reduce TCO.
